Welcome to the Compass Laboratory Blog

Welcome to the Compass Laboratory Blog

Welcome to the Compass Laboratory blog. We're a small, family-run manufacturer in Mena, Arkansas, and this is where we share practical information about the products we make and how we make them.

What you'll find here

  • Product guides – what each product is, how it's packaged, and how to store and handle it.
  • Quality standards – how we source raw materials, what "USP grade" means, and how lot numbers and expiration dates work.
  • How-to articles – practical uses for our solvents and formulation ingredients, such as vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol.

How we make our products

Every batch is assigned a lot number and expiration date that are printed directly on the bottle, so each product can be traced back to its production record. We package in glass where possible and ship domestic and international orders within two business days.

Our articles are for general educational purposes only and are not medical advice. If you have questions about whether a product is right for you, talk with your healthcare professional.
